Well...not so much destroy as complete.
You see, since becoming addicted to Pinterest I have found myself pinning things willy-nilly with nary a thought of actually completing or even starting the projects I was pinning.
It all started out innocently enough: a great headband to make for my daughter, a craft I knew my son would enjoy, a delicious looking dessert to make for a special occasion.
My pinning blossomed out of control. I was pinning sewing projects I knew I would never make, food that was too fancy and time consuming to cook with two toddlers running underfoot and the knitting projects! Oh, the knitting projects! Don't even get me started.
Then, I had a great idea. To encourage (or guilt) myself into actually doing some of the things I was pinning, I would document them for all to see!
So here we are; the start of The Pinterest Mission. As they say before any great voyage -- Godspeed.
I have boxes full of would-be-fun/should-do/needs-to-be-repaired/not-sure-how-to-do randomness that would be sewing projects if I had a full-time maid and nanny. =) I haven't even looked at pinterest yet, because of that. But I've actually been sewing more since Meredith was born, because she doesn't always nap when Julia does, so sewing is my "restful" thing to do.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! I know how you feel! I just now started feeling like I could be a little crafty and W is almost 15 months!
